My husband and I are moving from Virginia to California at the end of this month. We need some tips on keeping our 8 month old son occupied most of the time, so this isn't a bad trip for him. Any tips would be appreciated.

we're moving from california back home to virginia. we have 2 cats and a pug dog. the cats will be in one car and the dog in another. the cats absolutely **** HATE **** the car, screaming and howling the whole time. doggie loves the car, but drools a LOT and sometimes gets car sick. has anyone had experience driving their animals a VERY long distance before? does anyone have tips on how to accomplish this without getting the car trashed w/ animal stuff and keeping our sanity? does anyone have any suggestions on another way (not too expensive, the move itself costs a ton already!) to get our pets across 3,000 miles? i've heard of shipping them i guess its in a plane, but wouldn't that be traumatizing? do they make car sick stuff for animals? small portable litter boxes for kitties? is sedating them something that people do in this case? is that humane/safe? any information is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Alright, so I'm moving soon and my mom wants me to figure out how I want my new room to be. I was thinking black furniture (headboard, dressers, nightstand..) and a beige brown kinda blanket. My mom is gonna pick colours from the blanket for the walls. I liked the idea of having my other furniture and stuff (TV stand, computer desk, bookcase, lamp, and so on..) in a sort of glass and chrome thing, but I don't know if that would be good. Also I realized I would be scared they would break, and I want my room to be.. cozy.. but still masculine.. so then I thought that the stuff I wanted in chrome/glass could be white and not glass. What do you think? Anyone have any tips or anything for me? I'm a little stuck here. Oh, and I'm a 16 year old guy if that helps. I'm gonna put some pictures I found of the kinda stuff I was thinking about for the room. Thanks!

I am almost 18 years old and I need a big change in my bedroom. I have a daybed and have a hard time finding bedding that would look as good as it does on regular beds on a daybed. I also want a quaint, antique feel in my room without it feeling lke my mother decorated it for me like I was 12 again. One more problem to add on is I can't paint my walls so they'll have to stay a bland neutral white, since I'll be moving out for college in a year. Im thinking about moving to Ocean City MD for the summer for work. Im thinking about working in a restaurant as a busser or a server. People have told me that on a good night you could get $500 in tips. Im not sure if that is true but i was wondering if anyone knew how much u can get in tips on an average night.
